where does the line between art and merchandise blur?
Presented in partnership with INSTINC, this edition of The Collectible Experience adopts a “booth” format within the gallery, questioning whether a shopfront can also function as an installation.
Working with artists whose practices are performance, time-based, or process-led, the project explores how these approaches can be translated into manufactured objects. Rather than souvenirs, these works are conceived as artefacts of practice, carrying gestures, actions, and conceptual traces into portable, reproducible forms.
By collapsing the boundaries between display, commerce, and installation, this edition asks: when does merchandise become art and have these categories always been unstable?
